GOD's LOVE - I
Hi Friends,
Greeting in the name of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
This is my first blog. So I have decided to start with the basics of all things, LOVE.
God loved the world as follows:
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([d]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. John 3:16
We are created by His image. So love is the basic of all the moral values. Our LORD JESUS summarized all the Laws and Prophecies as follows:
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. Matthew 22:37-39
The Holy Spirit of GOD has written a whole chapter on GOD's LOVE (Agape) to Corithians (I corinthians 13. check this url: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=53&chapter=13&version=45 to read the entire chapter).
GOD created us to seek Him. So there is GOD shaped vacuum is every human being. That's why we are in search of true LOVE, PEACE, and JOY. Which we only can get from our creator.
JESUS said:
Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. John 14:27
True LOVE, PEACE, and JOY. comes only from the living GOD JESUS CHRIST.
First thing for a person is that he/she should love GOD, their creator. As an old proverb says "put first things first" let us love HIM with all that we have let all other things will follow naturally. So lets decide to love the living GOD JESUS CHRIST whole heartedly and ask Him to dwell in our hearts. He is always knocking the doors of our heart (Rev 3:20). It is our decision to open our heart's door to Him and ask Him to cleanse our sins with His holy blood that He shed for us in the cross. Imagine the creator of the entire univese living in our tender heart. Its such a great feeling to have your LORD as your own personal SAVIOR.
Try JESUS !
Let us pray.
Loving Father, we praise You for chosen us as Your children. Thanks for loving us, yet we are sinners. Please cleanse our sins with Your holy blood and make us new creation in You. Please come into our hearts and dwell there forever. Thanks for Your mercies and goodness. In JESUS mighty name we pray. Amen.
Let us live with our loving Father forever and ever.
